Welcome to PAINT Mini Makers & Me, a creative studio experience designed for children aged 2–4 and the important grown-up in their life.
These sessions are built around exploration, curiosity and creative play. Together, you’ll experiment with a wide range of art materials while enjoying dedicated time to create, discover and make alongside one another.
At Paint Club Ayrshire, we believe that young children learn best when they are given the freedom to explore in their own way. That’s why our sessions don’t use templates, colouring sheets or step-by-step instructions.
Instead, children are encouraged to investigate materials, ask questions, make choices and follow their own interests.
Every PAINT session is built around five simple ideas:

Explore materials and ideas.

Think creatively and discover new possibilities.

Slow down and look more closely.

Experiment, take risks and see what happens.
What can you expect?
Every session is different, but activities may include:
- Painting
- Drawing
- Printing
- Mark-making
- Collage
- Sculpture
- Sensory art activities
- Process-based art exploration
Who is it for?
PAINT Mini Makers & Me is designed for children aged 2–4, accompanied by a parent, grandparent or other adult.
No previous experience is necessary.
