Paint Club Ayrshire exists to foster creativity, confidence, and community through inclusive, high-quality art experiences.
We believe that everyone is creative, and our small, welcoming classes offer space to explore, express, and connect through the joy of making art.

Paint Club Ayrshire is led by artist and tutor Steven Walker, whose approach balances technical skill with creative freedom. Steven studied art in Edinburgh, Dundee, and London, and has over 15 years’ experience teaching children, adults, art students, and professional artists.

Before founding Paint Club Ayrshire, Steven taught as part of the Royal Drawing School’s Young Artists Programme, where he focused on nurturing confidence, curiosity, and experimentation in young creatives. Alongside teaching, Steven continues his own painting practice, exhibiting regularly in London and across the South East, with work that explores colour, gesture, and abstraction.

At Paint Club Ayrshire, it’s not about perfection, it’s about process, expression, and enjoyment. Each class is designed to help you grow as an artist, connect with others, and experience the calm and inspiration that art can bring.
